Changes for Teams next Year. Just to let you all know that the Cornwall Road running group voted by a smalll margin 29-26 votes to increase the size of womens teams from 4 to 6 for races up to half marathon and from 3 to 4 on marathons. The same as men. This is a change Hayle Runners have been seeking for 3 years. This was only possible because votes at the Road Running Club now better reflect the size of club entry in GP races. The clubs who voted for this were Hayle, St Austell, Newquay Carn and Falmouth. All other clubs in attendance voted against it including CAC, MBH and the smaller clubs. So our women have everything to play for next year!
